Sleep Deprivation and Quantity related Incidence in Students of Medicine

Aim: To assess the sleep deprivation and quantity related incidence in students of medicine. Study design: Descriptive cross sectional study. Place duration study: Psychiatry Department, Balochistan Institute Behavioural Sciences, Quetta from 1st October 2020 to 31st March 2021 at Methodology: One hundred thirty-five students, both males females, took part this research. After obtaining written agreement, detailed demographics study participants such as age, body mass index, gender, marital status, socioeconomic 18-30 years were recorded. Athens scale for insomnia was used estimation how frequently people experienced insomnia. Results: The mean age 23.04±11.33 BMI 21.43±21.45 kg/m2. There 81(60%) 54(40%) females. one (74.8%) patients had middle socio-economic status 31 (25.2%) upper class. Majority 135 (85.2%) unmarried. use AIS revealed that 59 (43.7%) insomnia, among these majority 39 (28.9%) Practical Implication: report is not accessible time writing. outcomes will allow specialists develop evidence-based recommendations prevention treatment who are risk developing condition first place. This analysis serves a baseline investigators. Conclusion: Incidence amongst medical significantly increased result stress overachievement late-night sessions achieve good grades higher one's increased.
